Bible Procession Becomes the Gospel Procession
From Sunday 4th October
The procession will be made with the Book of the Gospels rather than the Lectionary, and will take place after the first and second readings, as the Alleluia is sung. The first reader carries the Book of the Gospels to the foot of the sanctuary and hands it to the priest, who processes with it to the ambo. No reader joins the recessional procession at the end of Mass.
World Mission Sunday — 100 Years
Next weekend — Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October, all Masses

Knights Charity Golf Day

Sprinkling Rite & Consecration to the Holy Spirit
Second Sunday of each month — from Sunday 11th October
Mass will begin with the Blessing and Sprinkling of Holy Water in place of the Penitential Act, reminding us of our Baptism. As our parish is dedicated to the Holy Spirit, we will also pray together a Consecration to the Holy Spirit.
