Baptism welcomes your child into the family of God and the life of the Church. At Holy Spirit Parish, Baptisms are celebrated on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month. Parents and godparents attend a preparation session beforehand.

The following documents are required as part of the baptism process. You can view or download them below.
Baptismal Form
The Baptismal Form captures the essential details of your child's baptism — including the child's name, date of birth, parents' and godparents' names, and the date and place of baptism. This record is held by the parish and forms part of the official sacramental register.
Family Law Form
Where parents are separated or divorced, Australian family law may affect decisions about a child's religious upbringing. This form helps ensure that the baptism proceeds in accordance with any relevant parenting orders or court arrangements. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please speak with the parish office.
