Welcome to Holy Spirit Catholic Community, Bray Park
A message from our Parish Priest
My name is Fr Chinua Okeke Oraeki CSSp, a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Spiritans). It is a privilege for me to warmly welcome you to Holy Spirit Catholic Community, Bray Park, where Catholic faith is nourished in an inclusive and welcoming multicultural environment. At Holy Spirit Church, everyone and families are valued, and parish programmes are tailored toward the needs of people of all ages and cultural background.
Some of the parish activities include Eucharistic Celebrations, Baptisms, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, Adoration and Benediction, Home visitation for the sick and elderly, Children led Mass and Liturgy of the Word with Children, Youth and young adult groups, and regular cuppa after Sunday Eucharistic celebrations. We also have the St Vincent de Paul Society, which is the social justice arm of our church, reaching out to those at the fringe of society. More information about our parish programmes can be found throughout this website.
Our Parish Commitment
In living out the demands of the Gospel as disciples of Jesus Christ, we, the members of Holy Spirit Catholic Community, Bray Park, commit ourselves to:
- Fulfilling our Baptismal responsibility through evangelisation and service.
- Becoming a loving and welcoming community.
- Recognising and affirming the dignity of all as “Children of God.”
- Deepening our spirituality; that God’s Kingdom may reign now and ever more.
I invite you to come and worship with us and feel free to enquire in what ways you may use the talents God has given you to spread the Gospel through the various parish ministries — Reading, Singing, St Vincent de Paul, Catechism, Youth Apostolate, Men’s Group, and more.
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!
